Fecha de aplicacion: The pumps had to work 24 hours per day for a continuous period of 5500 hours (approximately 229 days). They were experiencing serious corrosion and some erosion from the cascade of return water from the dam containing active chemical reagents (pH from 2.5 to 8), as well as a small amount of solids.

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-1, CEP-2 and CEP-3. 104 kilos of Belzona 1311 and 22 kilos Belzona 1341 were used.

The cost of purchasing a new pump of the same size was about €35,000 - €40,000 (and only offering a 12 month warranty) compared to Belzona restoration and protection at €9,000.
